Just my Tracker

Just stopping in quick to post my pnt tracker, and I'm off. Looking to leave around 7am this morning for my parents. Hooking up with the family, and hopefully spending the day at the beach!

Have a great sunny weekend all!

Happy B-Day Canada!

Well, I'm off work today, so we'll see how I do on pnts and exercise. I couldn't seem to talk myself into doing any exercising yesterday, and ended up eating way too much fruit.. I couldn't help it!!! It was so yummy... and juicy... and mmmmm. So, pnts over. Meh.

Did anyone watch So You Think You Can Dance last night? Best performance of the night, hands down, no freaking questions asked was Alex and Twitch. I can't believe how talented Alex is... he's just unbelievable. I wouldn't have believed he could do a HipHop routine, except I saw it with my own two eyeballz and it was crazzzzzzzzzzzy good. I tried to find a clip of the dance on YouTube, but couldn't find anything. Probably cause it just happened last night. I just love this show, it's so great to see such professionals, who honestly just LOVE dancing, and have mad crazy skillz.

Dance: Hip-Hop
Choreographer: Tabitha and Napoleon D’umo
Song: “Outta Your Mind" by Lil Jon and LMfAO

Picture Day!

On Pnts again!!!! I'm on a freaking roll. Here's hoping I keep going in the right direction, and then maybe, just maybe I'll end up seeing a NEW lower number next week.

Yesterday I was click, click, clickin' my camera - so I have a few pictures to share with you (for once, it's been awhile!)

I arrived at work, and the sky was so blue.. and the sun was shinning so bright... it was very difficult to go inside the building, instead of driving away. This shot was snapped while I parked my car.

Ran out and grabbed a Subway Sub for lunch, since I won that gift card the other day at work, I still had enough on the card for one more sub... it was yum.

Watermelon - thanks to all those lovelies who posted photos of THEIR watermelon, when I went shopping last night I picked some up for myself. Sweet and juicy, yumyum.

Last, but certainly not least, was my low-fat fruit parfait! Sooooooooo good. I used low fat Coolwhip, blueberries, strawberries and topped it with 1 of those Lifestyle cookies I still had in the cabinet. Very Good. I have one cookie left, so I'll probably whip up another for tonight.

Stalled Out

Did good yesterday, stayed on pnts, and exercised while watching TV.

Weighed-in this morning, back to 210lbs after last weeks eating disaster where I went MIA and fell so far off the wagon. Again I'm in the position to keep moving in the right direction, we'll see how this coming weekend goes - hoping to make it to the beach for some sun and swimming.

Anyone else have plans this weekend?

Just another Monday

It's Monday again, and I don't really have anything planned. Work today, obviously. It's only 7am and already I'm trying to hype myself up for a workout tonight. "Walk Walk Walk Walk".
Again, did alright with pnts yesterday, no exercise though - but I was more active. Played some Frisbee with my neighbours dog for a little bit, went mini golfing with my friend - which was fun! And did some lazy version of WATP during commercials while I watched TV at night.

Monkey and I have been checking out placed in the Atlanta area to purchase down the road. We wanted to have a better idea of what's out there - costs, and also what we would both be interested in living in. Which, if you know me, has complicated my choices - cause I like so many! The city Townhouses are so precious and homey. The Lofts are modern chic. The sky-rise window condos are breathtaking! How is a person supposed to decide?!?

I'm sure the key is for me to go, and look at these places in person. I'm one of those people who goes with a gut feeling when it comes to homes/cars, etc. If I don't feel the need to be there, to purchase that space, then it's probably not right. I've done that for my 1st condo, my apt now, and for my vehicle - and have never regretted any of them.

It is exciting to be shopping with Monkey for a home . . . one could even go so far as to say it's as good as a dream.

Shoo Rain, Shoo.

I'm hoping it doesn't rain today, a friend and I are supposed to be going mini-golfing today, but not if it pours out! So cross your fingers that the rain stays away, and the sun breaks through.

Not much to talk about really, I did okay yesterday with pnts - a little over. But the thing that killed me was the fact that I did zero exercise, but worse than that? I did next to nothing the entire day. I cleaned up my apt, did a bit of laundry, and watched great amounts of TV and movies. Lazy. Because of that, the scale wasn't too pleased with my efforts this morning, and made that perfectly clear.

Hopefully, today I will be on pnts, and maybe even be a little more active - here's hoping.

Feeling the Burn . . .

I was on pnts yesterday, yay!!!! My day was super strange for eating, I had a pile of sugar while I was at work, but kept it light when I got home and even got up, and did some serious WATP's. I'm talking sweaty, burning muscles serious. Anyway, my butt is sore this morning, the muscles are really tight. I'm not sure how to avoid straining my muscles b/c I already do the warm-up, cool-down and stretches. Maybe it's just cause I'm not use to it? Here's hoping.

Does anyone else get charley-horses after they have worked out?

I get them during the night, once I'm relaxed in bed. Hate it.

I still have not managed to try a morning workout, sticking with after work for now. That's when I have the most free time, so I've been forcing myself up off that couch in the hopes of even accomplishing a small 15 minutes.

Erica @ Fashion Meets Food: I agree with you, somehow (suggestions people???) you have to learn to recognize why you do it, and how to avoid the situation, or how to deal with it better. The thing is, I guess I just allow it to happen... I know I shouldn't, I know what's happening.. but in that moment the force driving me to eat is much stronger then the other voices screaming stop!

GoingBlue: I'm a freak. Seriously. Those saltines and peanut butter would be gone in one or two sittings. I already do as you suggested usually - I keep a very minimal amount of food in my apt. (the family pokes fun at me all the time, cause my fridge is almost empty). I generally refuse to keep anything around that I would binge on: Cookies, crackers, spreads (I will resort to eating peanut butter with a spoon), chips, etc. For awhile, I wouldn't even have bread in the house - cause I've been known to binge on that too. I've gotten it all back under control somewhat. It's crazy, I know. Your suggestion about keeping food around that you HAVE to prepare to eat is a good one - I absolutely agree with that, and am practicing it again now that I'm back on the wagon.

Damn the Cookie!

I was doing just fine yesterday, staying perfectly on pnts.

I even exercised, sure it was only for 20 minutes, but it was certainly better than nothing and I broke quite the sweat - Leslie Sansone can be very brutal at times . . .

So, I'm all done for the evening, I even have like 6pnts left, so I think 'Hey, how about a cookie?'. It was all downhill from there, I ate and ate and ate until finally I was able to stop with only 5 cookies left in the box. I told Monkey what I had done, and he simply asked "why do you do that to yourself.." work so hard, and then eat like a maniac.

Answer: No freaking idea, really.

Grr. I really need to figure out the reason for this pattern, otherwise, how am I gunna stop it?

1st Day Back, Doin' Okay

Yesterday's pnt countin' was okay, I stayed on track, and even got in some exercise. I'm not gunna lie, it's been awhile since I did Walk Away the Pounds - and it felt a little similar to torture last night. The last few minutes I was dragging myself through the moves. In the evenings I've been considering putting in a quick workout in the mornings, before my shower, to boost myself for the day. But I'm finding it very difficult to even think of doing it in the morning, when I'm actually in the moment.

Do you working peeps exercise in the morning, or evening?

Super happy - It's FRIDAY!

Yesterday's pnt countin' was MUCH better. No cookies left to binge on. I only had 1 hot dog bun left, so no scarfing there either. I even managed to get outside for a little walk, it sucked. I have been avoiding going for a walk since Monkey left, it's so lonely! Going walking with him looking for all those Geocaches was so much fun, just being outside, chatting with him, whatever. All by my lonesome sucks horribly. It was very sad, the further I walked, the more lonely I became. So I just decided to come home after once around the block.

I'm hoping to be one of the big Lotto Winners tonight!!!!! 45 prizes of $1 Million and 1 prize of $50 Million - common $50 MILLION!!! I have a good feeling about this. Send me good vibes people, cause I already have a great plan on how I'm spending $50 Million dollars in my lifetime!

I had a bunch of left overs from the Sweet Potato Burrito, so I made a quesadilla out of it. I actually liked this version better, not sure why - cause it's the same ingredients. Next time I make it though, I think I'll always transform it into a Sweet Potato Quesadilla. Heh.

Spicy!!!

I'm late making my post, ended up chatting with Monkey on the phone this morning and it ate up most of my "free" time. So, I couldn't post until I got home. (Granted, I had lots of time to do posting from work, I just don't like to log onto Blogger there... just in case, ya know?)

Anyway, yesterday was great, I made Sweet Potato Burritos. They were delicious, except I really need to measure my spices properly (oh, and labelling them correctly would have helped). Then, when I was doing just fine with pnts - I screwed the pooch. I ate TEN (count em') TEN cookies, the entire rest of the box. I couldn't help it. Or rather, I could have.. but didn't.. and kept eating.

I've also gotten into the horrible habit of eating hot dog buns. They are so soft and doughy, I can't seem to stop myself! I'm sick. Help. Grrrrr.

I'm still on track so far today, we'll see what happens between now (6:30pm) and bed. I need to tap into some serious self control. Anyone have some to spare?

Whitney, at Getting Healthy: I have seen P.S. I Love You, and cried through the entire thing. I was a messy sopping mess by the end, it was much better then I had expected.

Erica, at Fashion Meets Food: Thanks Sugar! I'm trying.... and trying.

Happy Fun Pants, at Smaller Fun Pants: ...absolutely wonderful, Yes.

Krista, at Running Through Life: "Your heart feels like it compresses all of a sudden then almost explodes in your chest." Couldn't put it any better myself.

Scattered Showers, Again? Boo.

Did good last night, even with the massive meal of food I had for dinner - it was soooooooooo good. I made Turkey Meatballs the other day, and they were fantastic. Yum. I'm really into spaghetti sauce lately, it's pretty low in pnts, and it's so flavourful.

Cleaned my apartment last night, almost 30 minutes of vacuuming trying to get in all the corners and cleaning off the baseboards. I have this minor fear of spiders, and whenever I see a black speck on the floor for a moment panic sets in. I watch nervously to see if it moves, when nothing happens I prompt it to move by blowing air on the spot, or leaning down closer to get a better look. I'd say 9/10 it's never a spider.... but that still leaves 1/10..... .... ew. So, anyway, I made sure there were no little spots on the floor that would catch my attention. Plus, it didn't hurt that my landlord was coming over to pick up rent - and she's always so surprised at how clean and tidy I am. ~Smiles~

On a completely unrelated topic, I thought of this last night.

Have you ever had those moments where you are so completely overwhelmed by the way you feel about someone else?

It happens to me from time to time. I was sitting, watching TV last night (there was nothing on, I hate summer TV) and this feeling of blissful love just like... blanketed me. I just thought about how much I love Monkey, from tiny moments, to larger ones. It's the strangest and most perfect feeling in the world. (Hokey I know, but honest...) To know you love someone in that way, and to know, with 100% certainty, that they love you in return . . .

I'm still here...

Krista, miss.krista: Thanks for the encouragement. I've never used the online WW, I've heard mixed things. I just do the pnt counting myself using WW Books, and I weigh-in each week officially myself here at home.

Erica, Fashion Meets Food: You're so sweet, and thanks for the encouragement also! I'm trying to get back into the regular mindset. Hopefully this week will be better.

Not much new to write about, I see the sun through my mini blinds this morning, which is indeed a nice change after three solid days of humid grey. I was over in pnts yesterday, as you can see. But I actually am down in weight, I managed to somewhat control my weekend eating. So I weighed in at 210.8lbs (-1.2lbs) this morning. Yay. Back to the normal.

I've been stuck between 210 and 212 for months, and months. Bleh.

+20 pnts, Boo

Shame. Bad night, lonely night. I miss Monkey.

Quick

I'm not much in the mood to blog this morning, so a quick post of my food log is pretty much it! Hope everyone has a fantastic FRIDAY!

Doin' Good - So far.

My pnts are doing pretty good since the weekend, I'm keeping pretty much on track with everything, and feeling good about it. Got another 1 Mile - Walk Away the Pounds in last night. It's only a 15 minute workout, but I'm telling myself that it's way better then doing nothing at all. Plus, when I say it's only 15 minutes, it's 15 minutes of good working out, sweat and all.

Erica, over at Fashion Meets Food: I was pretty excited that Rachael & Finn got together - although I thought it was a bit strange that Rachael stayed to watch her ex's performance. He is pretty cute, but he's so sweet... like, boyishly sweet that you could kinda drop kick. I think I like what's his name better - the bad boy. Okay, the part about Rachael's Mom adopting the baby - I was like WHA?!? I was very confused by that ending, and since when could you just walk into a hospital and shop babies? Or do you think it was preplanned? Cause it didn't sound it.

Blossom, over at I'm Blossoming: John Stamos?? Really? Wow. Yeah, I figured they wouldn't just get them completely back together right away - she did kinda pull away during the kiss. You're right though, they didn't offically get back together. I guess what I meant to say was that they stopped lying to eachother (or Will did at least) and admitted that he still wanted a relationship.

I LOVE Jane Lynch as Sue Sylvester. I think she is doing an amazing job, and makes me laugh every freakin episode. She was just as funny on Two and a Half Men, playing a very similar character. I am not a fan of Will's curly hair, and think it's just hilarious that Sue points it out constantly and harasses him about it.

How do you all feel about this character?

Glee-tastic!

Did great yesterday for pnts and exercise, I'm finally getting a little in and feeling better about it. I had a horrible day at work, so last night was pretty rough, but I managed not to bosh my entire efforts for the day just because I was feeling miserable.

Well, hopefully no one missed last nights seasonal finale of Glee - cause it was great! I really liked it, and loved the music, as per normal. I have no idea where they are going to go from here. Since Emma and Will got together, Rachel and Finn are together again, Quinn had her baby, etc. etc. Where does a show go once they have sorta wrapped everything up? Not sure if I'll like the next season or not, we'll see what the writers come up with.

Has anyone purchased the Glee Soundtrack? My Mom bought it, and last time I was visiting we listed to it - it's pretty damn wicked. Check it out if you haven't already.

Quick & Easy

* Did alright yesterday, but the days before were horrible, unfortunately. I will admit that I ate an entire bag of chips... it was a horrible idea, but it was like I was going crazy with the craving for chips. Bah, next time I should just get chips when I first crave them and have a few. (Been craving those things since before Monkey was here for the visit...) Anyway, I'm up to 212lbs today (+2). Bleh. My own fault.

* Quick shot of one of the Peacocks at the park who was showing off the entire time I was there. He was a little far away, so this was the closest shot I could get of him.

* The pond at the park was very pretty with the clouds reflecting in the surface, never mind one of the Canadian Geese that seriously considered attacking me, if only for a moment.

Errrrr....

It was bad, I'm not even certain I counted everything right, or if I forgot something during my manic binging. I dunno exactly what went wrong, I feel like I'm ravenous though. I think it's my stress level, there's a lot going on - and my mind is just swirling with stuff lately. It's an excuse, I knew I should have stopped eating.. bad. 14+pnts over count. ~makes a face~ Oops.

I wasn't going to bother posting, because I wasn't entirely sure if the count was even correct.. and lets face it.. who wants to post how poorly they have been doing. But then I thought, what the hell. It's done and over with - it happened, and not posting it doesn't make it NOT true. ~Shrugs~ So there you have it, my very pathetic control over yesterdays eating. This morning hasn't been much better - I'll try to pull back on the reins for the rest of the day.

I hurt myself yesterday, slipped in the tub and jarred my shoulder/arm pretty bad. I'm gobbling down some Advil. Planning on going to the movies with a friend today - Sex and the City 2. Hope it's okay.

Happy Birthday Monkey!

It's my Monkey's Birthday today!!! I hope he has a greatly fantastical day.

I'm off on my pnts again, but it's not my fault! (Yes it is, it so is.) The problem is because I went grocery shopping, and now I have super yummy things waiting to be eaten in my fridge. Yummy things that include cookies - Peak Freans ~ Lifestyle Selections. They are so yum - I got two flavours: Blueberry Brown Sugar with Flax and Vanilla Bean Latte - sooooooo good. I can't stop eating the stupid things. And they are a 1pnt each. I was kinda hoping when I bought them that it would be like 3 cookies for one pnt. Clearly, I was wishful thinking, imagining myself with piles of cookies and gobbling them down like the Cookie Monster. Sad, but true. So - if you check out my pnt counts - you can see I had 12 cookies yesterday.. no control. None.

My weigh-in this Tuesday is not going to be pleasant if I keep this up. And still no exercise. Boo.

Is anyone watching So you think you can Dance? I love that freaking show. Every time I watch it the people make me so happy and inspired. It's so wonderful that they love to dance so much, that they are so very passionate about what they do. I wish I had more of that feeling in my life. When they get so happy that they cry on the show, they freaking make me cry! I dunno, it's just so beautiful. The way some of them can dance/move is freakin off the wall crazy. I love it. It's so interesting to watch.
